Purchased but was not convinced of magical properties.
It has magical properties. Pulls "grits" out of my skin and leaves it soft, not stripped.

I’ve used this mask a few times and it was great, but my most recent use left me with what looks like a chemical burn!!!! I can’t believe it and I have a wedding in a few days🥲so disappointing and concerning for what’s in this product if it can burn my face…Not sure I’ll be using again unfortunately and I’m scared for my face now.

I love charcoal masks in general, but what separates this one is that it doesn’t completion dry out and strip your skin like many charcoal masks do. I love using this + the vacuum cleansing oil to do the grits method, but even just by itself my skin always feels sooooo clean afterwards. I occasionally use this mask on my teenage son and it really cleans the gook and grease off his skin without drying it out (his skin is dry and sensitive and he has eczema). I love that it takes longer to dry, bc then it forces me to sit still for longer

The Bethany Charcoal Mask is the first charcoal mask I have ever tried and I really like it. This one is not as drying as I thought it would be, but I only use it once a week must in case. My skin feels fresh and clean after using it. I have combination skin though it is a little more oily in the summer and dry in the winter. I also have a little rosacea on my one check, and this mask has not made it worse, in fact since using all SB products, it has improved!
