Sip, Shop & Skin Party Ticket

I took my mom to the Sip, Shop & Skin Party for her birthday and we had a great time! Really great crew; Adeline was so sweet & knowledgeable; a wonderful way to spend our afternoon. It was so fun to take the time out to really learn the process for a skincare routine with an expert’s advice in real time. Recommend this party for anyone!

When I decided to sign up for this Personalized Sip, Shop, & Skin Event, I thought it was going to be identical to the other Sip, Shop, & Skin Events. Girl! was I wrong! After completing the initial skin "survey," I received a specialized package of sample goodies dedicated especially for me to use during this Event. Then, I received an email detailing everything in my specialized package and why it was chosen for me (I printed mine!). Dawn was our Skin Whisperer for the evening. Even though the gathering was small, she was well prepared to speak to each one of us individually regarding the skin care she packaged for each of us. My notes, indicate that someone (Dawn?) must have said "Listen to your Face." I then wrote "... well, my face says it feels great!" I'm glad that I treated myself to this Event. I'm always glad when I treat myself to a SBee event! Ha! And, hey to the fellow skin-worshipers in my Event!

I have tried seemingly every "virtual" activity on the planet over the past year. Cooking classes, cocktail-making classes, drag shows, game nights, workouts - but the Sip, Shop & Skin (Virtual) party might have been the only one that left me feeling genuinely better about myself and my skin. Dawn was our lead, and explained every single aspect of our skincare lineup with expertise and laypeople's terms. We had folks from near Philly all the way to California, and we were able to go through the process together even from afar! Great gift for yourself or for someone you love.

A friend who is very skincare savvy introduced me to SB, and I've been quietly following them on IG and FB for about a year. The products all looked really interesting, but I had no idea how to get started choosing what to buy and try. (I did the skincare quizzes, but I often doubt whether or not I'm accurately describing my skin and its needs--I'm that much of a skincare amateur!) I had plans to be in Philadelphia last year and was going to stop by to get a few recommendations, but the pandemic shut that down. I finally got up the nerve to buy a few trial products, and while I liked them, I wondered if they were the right ones for me and if I was using them correctly. I ultimately decided to treat myself to a Sip, Shop, Skin class, and I'm really glad I did! Dawn and Adeline were super helpful and thoughtful as they picked out sample they felt would be right for me, and Dawn expertly walked our small group through her own day and night routines as she taught us how to build our own. I learned a lot about the brand, and I got a taste of the SB community at the party. (Folks were kind, and I felt motivated to join a Facebook party the next day to meet other people!) I followed the instructions for the party (wellness drink chilled, warm water bowl with spa packet gathered, washcloths at the ready). I lit a few candles, closed myself off in a room, and just gave the class my all. It may have been the most relaxing hour and a half I've had in a long time. My skin felt great afterwards, and I left feeling more informed and confident about making decisions about what products to buy for myself. My next order is on the way (thanks to the party discount!), and I'm already looking forward to future events.

I booked this for a friend and myself, and we had such a lovely time with Adeline leading the way! I have to say upfront that I am not a beauty/skincare aficionado and barely spend 5 minutes daily on my facial routine - so a 10-step facial over 90 minutes is not my usual MO. I found that I truly loved not only the thoughtful selection of samples and Adeline's in depth knowledge, but the entire experience of pampering my self and my skin with these amazing products. Several of the sample packets were enough to keep using for a few days (def don't skimp during the experience, but putting a full packet of some of the serums and stuff at one time might be too much), and I could visibly see results from just that night's full routine and a bit more care here and there. I'm now addicted to the vacuum oil and guasha and have purchased the lavender snow amethyst night cream as well as some travel size serums (still not fully committed, but results speak for themselves).

In addition to the pampering and glowing results, having something to share with a friend online during quarantine was a special experience that we both enjoyed, particularly the non-alcoholic Dram CBD drink to accompany - consensus was true bliss by the end of our night!
