Calm Cream

  • This is a cream that targets very sensitive and acne-prone skin that is also dry or dehydrated. It was designed for those who may be allergic to many products. Many who have tried Calm Cream reported that it greatly diminished redness caused by acne or irritation.

Ingredients include Chamomile Water (20%, very effective in soothing dry, flaky, itchy skin, rashes and acne), Colloidal Oats (Excellent for sensitive skin, soothes irritation), Hydrolyzed Goat Milk (Goat milk is good for sensitive skin, and this hydrolyzed material helps creates a barrier against water loss), Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter for luxurious creamy moisture, Niacinamide and N-Acetyl Glucosamine for evening skin tone/discoloration, Panthenol to moisturize and soothe your skin, Licorice Root Extract (evens skin tone), Camellia Japonica Oil (Anti-inflammatory, stimulates collagen production) and Camellia Japonica extract (Potent antioxidant, boosts collagen).

Love the product, not the price

I really like the calming cream - it feels great on my dry winter skin and smells wonderful (though the fragrance is a bit strong), but the quantity for the price is laughable to me. I love supporting small businesses and have always enjoyed Sabbatical Beaty's products in the past, but the price keeps me from purchasing more often. $22 for a face cream that lasted only for 7 uses is not a good value in my opinion.

Hi Tallulah, Thank you for your review. We do appreciate your feedback and are happy that you're part of the Sabbatical Beauty Family! - SB Team

I wanted to love it!

I wanted to love this so much after seeing what people were saying, but unfortunately it's doing the opposite of calming my face for some reason and I'm super sad about it. The consistency is great and it does moisturize my skin really well. I don't know if it's just too thick of a moisturizer or if it's a certain ingredient that I'm not reacting well to. I'll just have to keep looking. Aside from my face being so fickle though; it does feel like a great moisturizer.

Hi Jessica, We're sad to hear that you didn't love the Calm Cream but do appreciate the feedback! For dry skin we would suggest trying out Donkey Cream! - SB Team

Good Stuff!

I love this product. But for me I have such a hard time with textures. More than the regular person. I didn't love how this cream felt on my face...but it's just because I am particular. So...it sat in my drawer for a few months. A few weeks ago, I cut myself and got 8 stitches on my thumb. My cut would. not. close. Even after having the stitches in for 10 days. The itching and burning was ungodly. I cut out my stitches without the wound being closed. Then I started applying this cream with Aquaphor to my cut twice a day....and oh. my. gosh. It helped my wound close the rest of the way after three days! I have continued to apply it religiously and I have never had stitches heal this quickly. Or look this good! This cream is helping my scar so much more than Mederma ever did. Ive had my fair share of stitches and cuts. I PROMISE you I have never, ever have had a wound heal this well. The redness has gone away, the suture holes are practically invisible. The new skin looks healthy. It has elasticity, a good pinkness to it and has gotten thicker since the cream. Its not so delicate anymore. So...get this cream. Imagine what it can do for your face! Calm Cream + Aquaphor = chef's kiss

Not Fragrance Free :(

It's a no for me - the idea of it sounded amazing: colloidal oats, chamomile water, goats milk - all sounded dreamy! I should have checked, but didn't think I needed to - as soon as I opened the jar, I was hit with fragrance. Lo and behold - it was on the ingredients list (which I should have checked!). I did try this once - it felt like a super power cream, but I couldn't get over the fragrance. Thankfully, I purchased the travel size.

Hi Rebecca, We are so sorry to hear that the Calm Cream didn't work out for you. If you would like, please reach out to customer service at info@sabbaticalbeauty we would love to help you with an exchange! - SB Team
