The moment I washed this oil off my face for the first time, I gasped, "wow," because I've never had any oil wash off as cleanly as this one. And it really did what I wanted it to do, which is to deeeeeeeep clean my pores, which felt cleaner than any other time after I washed, while my skin still felt soft and plump and not dried out at all.
So I called this my "Vacuum Cleaner" because -- well -- it vacuums like a mofo. I used a base of Rice Bran Oil in here for its rich concentration in B vitamins and Vitamin E for soft, healthy skin, then added in Castor Oil as it is good for acne, and finally, a dash of Hazelnut Oil, as its high concentration of tannins makes its astringent and thus good for oil control. Also, despite my originally formulating this for oily skin, I've found that it works well for all skin types, including mine which is extremely dry.

Instructions: Apply to DRY skin. Massage a half-pea sized drop onto a dry face, then rinse off with warm water. Do NOT get product in the bottle wet, or it will compromise the effectiveness of the product and possibly destroy the preservation system.
Hands down favorite oil cleanser ever!! Also rinses like a dream!

I love VCCO. I ran out recently and decided to use up a different oil cleanser and waited to order more. When my new bottle finally arrived, my skin was so happy. It really does do an amazing job at clearing your pores. Double cleansing was a game changer for me.

It wasn't as magical for me as many others found it to be, but I think this is the best skin I've had in years.
It didn't get rid of my milia or acne. It didn't remove as much of my sebum as I'd hoped after each wash. But I have significantly less.
When applying, I sometimes feel like it is "pulling" my skin, which make me anxious about wrinkles. Perhaps I'm not using enough of it.
Again, I have significantly less sebum after each use.
It works great with my other skincare products, which are largely Korean brands. My pores do appear smaller after each use and my skin is softer. The pores enlarge throughout the day, but they're still the most invisible they've been in a long time.
I like that it has very few ingredients and is effective.
Even with use twice a day for nearly 50 days as the first step in a double-cleanse, my travel size bottle is still 3/4ths full. So it's pricey, but it lasts a while.
I know SB gets lots of criticism for political posts, but it's one of the reasons I like supporting them!
I love this! It feels so luxurious going on, and truly does just wash away even though when it's on you might think "how on earth is this oil just going to wash off" but then it doessss! Also the combo with the Bethany Charcoal Mask fully feels like I really just vacuumed my entire face in the best way possible!
