🧪 Tsubaki Oil: Also known as Camellia Japonica Oil, this skin-identical oil sinks in immediately, and is a centuries-old Japanese secret to beautiful hair and skin.
🧪 Vitamin C: 10% of this formulation is a gentle, stable oil-soluble Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) to brighten your skin tone and fade discoloration
🧪 Retinol Liposome: We use a retinol liposome (5% of formulation), a gentle and highly effective delivery system to penetrate your skin to reduce fine lines and treat acne without the irritation associated with most retinols

Looks watery in the bottle but sooooo luxurious and rich feeling when it goes on. It feels incredibly moisturizing and definitely leaves me with a glow. As a dry skin girly, I tend to be wary of retinol, but this does not irritate my skin at all. I use it with the Dorian Gray Serum and my skin looks bright af when I wake up!

I use this every night and try to follow with a massage. Just like what the other SB users advised, I have to seal it in with a night moisturiser, otherwise it just kind of floats at the surface of the skin. But with the night moisturiser, I feel it is quite heavy. The hot and humid weather is contributing to it I’m sure. However, the next morning, the skin always feels soft and nice.

Here in the PNW we need to venture out in the sun when opportunity presents itself. I am impressed with the results from DG. Fine lines became less visible, which says a lot given how long covid-related stress/lack of sleep has persisted (unsurprisingly, it turns out that balancing a career and two kids < 5 really shows up on this mom's face). The only negative part of my DG experience -- which shouldn't come as a surprise, given that the product includes retinol -- is that I noticed photosensitivity, despite wearing high SPF and a hat. My melanin-challenged skin probably doesn't help. So, I've pivoted to Lift Serum for the summer and will return to DG once the precious PNW sunshine disappears. Two thumbs up! Do yourself a favor and get some while it's available.

Do not pass up the Dorian Gray Beauty Oil! I use this at night as my last step before my sleep pack, and let me just say that when I wake up, my skin is so smooth. I feel like since I have been using this my skin is supple and healthy as if I was--you guessed it--years younger. Can't say enough about this product. I have always used it alongside the serum, so it is hard for me to separate their effects greatly, but this one is definitely heavier and goes on later in the routine, and acts more as a moisturizer for me. But get both! You won't regret it!

I think it works, but I don't think I will rebuy this
Age 40+ w/ start of nasolabial folds, loss of elasticity and collagen, some settling of 11's, horizontal forehead wrinkles. Skin was oily for most of my life and now settled into combination. I got the tester and it has lasted FOREVER, which is nice. Along with other products I have found this has lightened the depth of my incipient wrinkles. And it is a gentle retinol for those with sensitivities. My skin is pretty tough so I think I will get a prescription from my dermatologist for an affordable Tretinoin alternative. I('ve read in many sources that retinol/tretinoin works regardless of whether it's from a drugstore cheap brand or a fancy high-end brand.)
