Worked Wonders For Me + Teenage Son
I love charcoal masks in general, but what separates this one is that it doesn’t completion dry out and strip your skin like many charcoal masks do. I love using this + the vacuum cleansing oil to do the grits method, but even just by itself my skin always feels sooooo clean afterwards. I occasionally use this mask on my teenage son and it really cleans the gook and grease off his skin without drying it out (his skin is dry and sensitive and he has eczema). I love that it takes longer to dry, bc then it forces me to sit still for longer
Hi Sonjachardé, Thank you for your feedback! It is always helpful to get different skin types perspective on products! We are so happy to hear that Bethany Charcoal Mask worked for both you and your son! - SB Team

Love the Bethany Charcoal Mask
The Bethany Charcoal Mask is the first charcoal mask I have ever tried and I really like it. This one is not as drying as I thought it would be, but I only use it once a week must in case. My skin feels fresh and clean after using it. I have combination skin though it is a little more oily in the summer and dry in the winter. I also have a little rosacea on my one check, and this mask has not made it worse, in fact since using all SB products, it has improved!

Bethany is my girl!!!!
You might be looking at this mask and asking yourself “How is this mask different from ALL the other Charcoal Masks out there?” Lemme tell ya! This mask has been an integral part of getting my skin all smooth and my pores super clean and decongested all the while being gentle to my skin!!! The two step process with VCO is so relaxing and soothing… facial massage is so important and it helps to gently remove those nasty grits without harsh extractions! If you really want to up the effects finish with Botanical Acid Toner and prepare to be amazing by the softness and glow of your skin and it helps all of those yummy serums and moisturizer to just sink into the skin with ease!
I've had clogged pores all my life. "Good" skin day would be one where there are no zits and a somewhat smooth skin if you don't look too closely. However it is packed full of gunk especially between my lower zip/chin, on and around the nose. I had basically given up on those areas especially below my lower lip. Finally caved in and tried this together with the vacuum oil (and other items), and I'm amazed. For some reason, gunk that I've never seen before began appearing all around my face, even areas that I thought was OK. While it didn't and I don't expect it to "fall out on its own", they were brought to the surface that I could just easily extract it out with minimal pressure. Most of them were so deeply seeded inside. I don't usually extract but for this reason, I had to. It was so satisfying to see everything out. Can't wait to see what will happen if I were to go a few more rounds.
