Tea Tree Beauty Water

Tea Tree Beauty Water

$ 15.00

We wanted to bring the amazing acne-fighting power of Tea Tree to our existing Beauty Waters (Peppermint Water and Beauty Water). Powered with Tea Tree Hydrosol (the byproduct from making Tea Tree essential oil), and Tea Tree Essential Oil, this product cleanses, exfoliates and treats acne naturally. Tea Tree Water

contains a tiny amount of surfactant (ingredients to cleanse your face) in the form of Hydrolyzed Silk, which gently cleanses your skin just with a few swipes of a cotton pad. To gently exfoliate your skin, Beauty Water contains a mixture of Alpha Hydroxy Acids from Starfruit, Passionfruit, Kiwi, Mangosteen, Pineapple, Lychee and Jujube, as well as calming and exfoliating White Willow Bark Extract.

Once your skin is exfoliated and cleansed, it will enjoy nourishment and soothing from Aloe Vera, Algae Extract (antioxidant rich, gentle, anti-aging) and Panthenol  (Vitamin B5, extremely moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, helps build your moisture barrier. Tea Tree Water is low pH (5).

NB: The fruit acid complex may make your skin more photosensitive, so please use sunscreen if using this product.

Made without Parabens.

Shake well before use. Apply on a dry face using a cotton pad. Takes off makeup and facial dirt. Use as a freshener throughout the day, when too tired for a full routine, or as part of a routine as a first cleanse (in which you would follow with a foaming cleanser).

Holy Cleaning Power!

I really love the clean feeling my skin has after I use this! Sabbatical Beauty where have you been all my life?

Excellent for long, difficult days

Sometimes I go to bed with my makeup still on. I also am extremely acne-prone, so this never, ever ends well. I can't use the regular Beauty Water (I seem to be mildly allergic to an ingredient, but I don't know which one) and the Peppermint Water is lovely, but for my acne prone skin, the Tea Tree Beauty Water can't be beat. I wouldn't use it every day (unless you're doing an additional cleanse) because it's a pretty minimal cleanser, but it's not only effective, it's mildly moisturizing so if I fall asleep without a moisturizer for one night, it won't be the end of the world.

For a quick cleanse, or as a toner

The original SB Beauty Water didn't work out for me because I found that the acids made my skin tingle too much for my comfort, but I was told TTBW would be much gentler, and suitable for my acne-prone oily skin. TTBW is lovely for a mid-day wipe when my skin is feeling grimey and oily, or as a toner after cleansing. It definitely doesn't strip my skin the way some astringent Western toners do and doesn't leave a residue afterwards.

Part of my daily routine

I love this product and have made it part of my daily routine. In fact, I use it 2 or 3 times a day! For me it's a final cleanser and leave-on toner. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean, while providing the benefits of tea tree extracts (not to mention all the other amazing ingredients!). It's an excellent base for the serums that follow, and I find that my skin absorbs the serums more completely when applied after the tea tree beauty water. I first tried it in the sample size and ordered the full size bottle before finishing the smaller size because I do not want to be without this product!

Clean and Soft

Notice how the first ingredient is aloe. I've always cleaned my face with witch hazel, which is a natural astringent. In later years, I'd toss a couple drops of tea tree and geranium in there to further clean my skin. But an astringent can be super drying, which leads to, you guessed it, more oil production and MORE ACNE. This beauty water cleans my face without leaving it feeling dry OR sticky OR greasy. There is no film. Just a gentle moisture. So you get to combat acne on the dirt AND over dryness level. Favorite product yet.
