Shinrin Yoku Grounding Aura Mist

  • Shinrin Yoku was designed as a grounding spray you can use to cleanse your own energy and to calm and ground yourself, especially if you are experiencing anxiety or challenging emotions.

Shinrin Yoku is a Japanese & Korean field of study which posits that spending time barefoot in forests doing diddly squat except staring at trees and plants and wildlife is immensely healing to the immune system. They bring terminally ill people to the forests to do this. One of the most healing aspects of Shinrin Yoku is supposed to be the fragrance of the evergreen trees, which is captured here in Douglas Fir hydrosol (the water byproduct of creating Douglas fir essential oil) and Hinoki (Japanese Cypress), Blue Spruce & Fir Needle Essential oils.

It smells like you're in a pine forest. And we've added obsidian crystals to this mix as well, because black crystals help to ground you, help you to feel connected to the earth, and to feel protected.

You'll instantly feel calm, relaxed, and that you've suddenly beenplopped back into your body once sprayed on.

LOVE.

This spray is calming for me while I'm doing creative writing and academic work! I love the Hinoki in it; it makes me feel refreshed each time I use it. It smells like a warm dry pine forest in the midst of spring in California. I can't find anything like it out there and can't wait till there is another bunch of these made :)

Hi Alexa, We are so happy to hear that you're loving the Shinrin Yoku Mist! That sounds like a lovely way to use it. We are working hard to restock as soon as we can! - SB Team

A present from past me

Yesterday I found an SB box tucked away in the back of a cabinet. When I opened the box I found two Shirin Yoku Grounding Mists. I guess somewhere in the pandemic craziness, I forgot I had them.

The first spritz brought back memories from the lockdown days when everything was so very frightening and uncertain. But this mist is like an unexpected hug from a dear friend somehow.

I’m not ashamed to say that I got a little teary and thanked my past self for getting me through some really dark and difficult days and weeks over the last couple of years.

Thanks for creating these, Adeline. ❤️

Shinrin Yoku Grounding Mist

This magical potion is like a quick trip to the spa in a spray bottle. Love the scent! So natural and not overwhelming. Just reaching for it makes you stop and center yourself to refocus right before you enjoy that first spritz. Did I mention how good it smells? Breathe deep...spritz....inhale...spritz...exhale. Ahhhh...

Second Review - it's that good

This is the first time (I think) that I have felt compelled to write a second review. That is because I have kept using this mist, and as I have, I find that it has become more central to my work and creative life. I spray it before every creative writing time. I have started to also spray/mist it before my yoga and meditation sessions. I often use it while grading papers (I am a college professor) and it helps focus my attention on the task at hand. It is well named because it GROUNDS and help take your energy up a notch. But really? It just helps me attune me to ME - to my inner self and my heart. I urge you all to get this for energy and a step to help ground yourself to yourself (if that makes any sense!)

A walk in the pines....

I keep my tester bottle in my apron at work (server) and give myself a little spritz when it gets crazy in the restaurant. It’s like taking a deep breath in a pine forest after the rain! It’s very calming and helps me avoid absorbing negative energy from others, and puts a smile on my face. Tall order from a tiny little mist!
