Revive Set (Dry Skin)

I ordered the Revive Set because my skin is changing in Menopause. The Goat Milk & Rice Cleanser have just enough emollience to gently clean my skin without drying it out. The aroma of this cleanser is lovely & it’s calming to breathe in.

My skin drinks up the Asian Powerhouse Serum, it’s not greasy or heavy just the right consistency that my skin soaks it up..a little goes a long way too.

The Dorian Grey serum is another great layering addition along with the Asian Powerhouse Serum. These 2 together add a subtle dewiness to the skin.

Here’s what I noticed: After using the Goat Milk & Rice Cleanser, along with the Asian Powerhouse serum & Dorian Grey serum—my skin literally gets brighter to look at!

After using this set my skin’s appearance—hydration level, my facial skin to the touch has improved, and the redness across the bridge of my nose is reduced (something I only experienced with the hormonal changes of perimenopause/menopause).

I can say that over the 2 weeks of using the Revive Set (with all these products, a little goes a long way), I am starting to see a cumulative improvement in my skin’s appearance, texture, and touch.

I am highly impressed, I ordered the Revive Set for dry skin and I am in love. It feels fantastic on my skin it makes it feel fresh and it makes myself ready to start the day. I am so happy that I found this wonderful company because it inspires to me to take care of skin more.

I want to be COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT! I was sent these products to try! But I can confidently say that Sabbatical Beauty is my new favourite skincare brand! I’m going to talk about the products I liked from least to most but I can be honest and say I loved everything! For context I have combination-dry skin that still gets hormonal acne and deals with a lot of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I’m also a Black afab person.

Rose Cleansing Balm: I liked it a lot, it’s just a bit of a small mini so I could only try it out twice. It doesn’t sting on my eyes, got all of my makeup off and left my skin soft! It didn’t have too strong of a smell.

Asian Powerhouse Serum: I liked the way it felt on my skin, my makeup applied nicely over it, but again, it was too small for me to see a difference. I want to get it again and try it over the span of a month.

Goat Milk & Rice Cleanser: It cleans my skin and keeps it nice and soft. If you like to put the cleanser on dry skin first and spread it on the face for the thirty seconds, it’s a little hard to spread so I felt like I had to use a lot of product. But once I emulsified the product, it lightly foams up and cleanses nicely without feeling like I’m stripping the skin. It’s now my new favourite cream cleanser.

Sake & Rice Sleeping Pack: She is MOISTURIZING! A little goes a long way and on days where the air is dryer than normal (and that’s been all the time lately) I know I won’t wake up with aching, flakey skin.

Beauty Water: I love her so much! If I have any active acne, I can either completely get rid of or significantly reduce my active acne. I genuinely think this product is amazing!

Donkey Cream: This is magical. So moisturizing, a little goes a long way, and the antioxidants that the donkey milk has is incredible! It’s genuinely my favourite piece of skincare I’ve ever had and it makes me feel so pretty and bougie! I am obsessed with it and it makes me happy and makes my skin feel amazing without pilling. It also layers over my (extremely long) skincare routine very well!

I took the SB skin survey and this was one of the suggestions for me. I liked the idea of trying an array of products meant to work together, and have really enjoyed these. I have never been diligent about my skin care routine, but these products actually inspire me to do better. They feel so good and leave my skin feeling fresh and even though I have not been good to do all the steps twice a day, I at least do some of the steps once a day, and that was my goal to get started. The Beauty Water was an instant fave and subs in for a cleanse on occasion. The Goat Milk & Rice Cleanse leaves my skin clean, but not tight or stripped feeling. Still getting a feel for the serums but I do like both the Asian Power House and the Marine Serums together. I actually just ordered a few others to try out. For moisturizing, Calm Cream and Winter is Coming do a fantastic job, and I could definitely tell a difference in my neck area fairly quickly. The Calm Cream seems a little heavier than what I am used to wearing in the summertime, but maybe I will get used to it. I want to love it because it smells so good! If you are considering trying SB products, these travel kits are a super way to try out a mini-routine to get you started on a new regimen, then try different sample sizes to expand your routine, or target a specific issue. This was a perfect option for me! Most importantly, I can certainly tell a difference in my skin! Smaller pores and smoother brighter skin and I'm not even using the products as often as recommended. Yet. I could really get used to this pampering self care! The customer service and FB support group are fantastic too!

With months of Covid uncertainty, a child who does not sleep, and book manuscript overdue, my skin was dry, rough, red and sore. I felt like I'd aged DECADES in a year. I ordered this set, not too hopeful, but the results have been amazing. Suddenly (really, I could see an immediate difference, as could my very unobservant husband) somehow my skin is brighter, hormonal acne GONE, and my cheeks plump and pink. I loved every single product and have now ordered them all in the full size. It's pricey, yes, but you only need the tiniest little bit. I am hooked.
