  • MOAR HONEY II is a powerhouse of yummy treats for your skin. Made up almost 50% of premium honey extracts (propolis, also known as "bee glue," is anti-microbial, good for acne and wound healing; and royal jelly, excellent for boosting skin health and anti aging, used to turn a bee from worker bee into the queen bee), the serum provides some much needed food for both dry and troubled skins. This cocktail is enhanced by the double header of Niacinamide (vitamin B3) and N-Acetyl Glucosamine, a potent combination for evening skin tone and fading scarring, Panthenol (vitamin B5, deeply hydrating), Arnica Extract (evens skin tone), Burdock Root Extract (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, may help acne) and Gingko Biloba Extract (helps redness and inflammation, antioxidant).

Hydrating + great for inflammation but be careful

Overall, I liked this one and ended up getting a full size version of it. It's great for dry skin and if you have any redness/inflammation. However, I'd recommend caution about putting it on open lesions. (I may or may not have been influenced by the reviews saying that it helped to heal acne lesions/cuts, and honey itself does help with inflammation/has antimicrobial properties, so I figured why not?) I initially did try using it on a couple acne lesions and it stung quite a bit. I also ended up with one lesion that ended up needing a prescribed antibiotic cream to fix it, so YMMV. I may have just been super unlucky -- I do really like this on un-injured skin.

The Best

The Moar Honey worked even better than the prescribed meds for my psoriasis. It broke up the plaque on my hands and wrists, and took away the itchiness and stinging for as long as the steroid cream. But it had no negative impacts, and it made me feel calmer. My swollen fingers, due to the arthritis (I have psoriatic arthritis), were suddenly able to type again, as now! Superb!

good for what ails you

Moar Honey is really a workhorse: if you've got acne, it's anti-inflammatory and mildly antimicrobial. If you've got sunburn, it's soothing. If you've got dry skin, it moisturizes. If you've got oily skin, it won't turn you into a slimy puddle. If my neurosenitivity and/or dermatitis happens to act up, I can keep using MH to soothe while I work my way through the (potentially drying) treatments.
I use it around my eyes the most (for the moisturizing benefits); I'll use it on cuts and scrapes from head to toe.
If I want to put MH on a larger area, I'll often mix it half-and-half another soothing serum (APH, maybe Marine) to thin it out just a bit and keep it from going sticky. If I'm just spot-treating, it's really not an issue; by the time I've applied my moisturizer and/or sunscreen, the MH is sinking in to do its work and I hardly notice.

Moar Honey is MAGIC

This product (like every other SB product I’ve tried!!) is magical! It has brightened and soothed my overall complexion and I see overnight improvement when used as a spot treat for acne or irritation.
