Ginseng is widely known in many Asian cultures as a miracle ingredient, having being used by medical practitioners around the world for bringing the body back into balance. Research shows that compounds in ginseng have an anti-inflammatory effect, and its use in anti-aging experiments have been promising. Compounds in ginseng have been shown to help synthesize collagen and improve skin elasticity, as well as have antioxidant and antiviral activity.

This serum brings together extracts from five different types of ginsengs or parts of ginseng, including Panax Ginseng, Panax Ginseng Root (Ginseng Radix), Siberian Ginseng, Angelica Sinsisis (known as "Women's Ginseng" in Traditional Chinese Medicine (skin nourishing, emollient, may help anti-aging), and Ashwagandha (Indian Ginseng; calming, stimulates collagen and promotes wound healing).

Instructions: As a serum: Apply after double cleansing and toning, and follow with facial oils and moisturizers. Can be layered with other serums or essences. As an essence toner: Apply after double cleansing. Dispense a few drops on your hands and pat into skin. Avoid use during pregnancy.

My favorite serum!

It’s hard to choose a favorite SB product. But when I went without this serum for a few months and noticed my skin looking drier, duller, generally less happy, I knew this was it for me! This serum is light and refreshing, but not too lightweight. It works well with other products and makes me feel like my skin is absorbing all sorts of goodness. Essential Layer

I can't say enough good things about Five Ginseng Serum. It's become a critical part of my routine, layered under moisturizers or on some very humid days on it's own. My skin looks brighter and refreshed when I use it and it helps the other layers absorb better. My skin is very sensitive and I have a lot of allergies, but I've never had any problems with this product.
