I designed this serum to clarify and balance acne-prone skin by putting together traditional herbal extracts used around the world to treat acne. You can use it all over your face as this will help to detox your skin from inflammation and impurities, or as a spot treatment.
Ingredient Deep Dive:
🌿 Tea Tree Extract (51%): Instead of using tea tree oil, this serum uses tea tree extract, which is gentler than the oil is, but still as effective to treat acne. Tea Tree extract also helps minimize redness.
🌿Volcanic Ash Extract: Volcanic ash is known to be a powerful detoxifier, as it cleans pores and helps remove dead skin cells. I put this in the serum to clarify your skin and draw out impurities.
🌿 Thanaka Extract: Thanaka is a yellowish white cosmetic paste from Burma that is traditionally made from ground bark. It’s used as makeup and to prevent sunburn, but also used to treat acne and clarify skin.
🌿Thyme Extract: Researchers from Leeds Metropolitan University have found that thyme extract can be more effective against acne-causing bacteria than benzoyl peroxide.
🌿 Comfrey is traditionally used to heal and calm irritated skin. The roots and leaves of the comfrey plant contain allantoin, a powerful cosmeceutical that reduces inflammation and helps to keep skin healthy.

Note that this serum varies from a creamy color (pictured) to a dark purple. This depends on the batch of extracts made from the botanical ingredients, and should not affect the efficacy of the product.
I just used it the first time today with noticeable improvement to my redness. Looking forward to seeing the changes over the next few weeks/months.
nice ingredients but really with the packaging? these are the same bottles companies use for my vape juice lol. for a product of this caliber i would expect nicer packaging, like a glass dropper bottle. Not a cheap plastic dropper.
I have combination skin with hormonal acne. Most products marketed to help acne from other companies have been harsh, irritating, or drying. Or they didn't make a difference at all. Tea Tree Volcanic Ashley serum is a game changer for me. I use it as a spot treatment and have seen pimples shrink in half overnight and disappear quickly without scarring or discoloration. And it is super gentle on my sensitive skin!
I think this has definitely help to control my cystic acne to become a more manageable type of acne. It has become smaller in size and instead of headless, it will come to head. I apply it day and night but it can be drying, as I noticed skin flakes on my chin. I most probably should just apply it once a day. With long term usage, I hope I would have lesser and lesser acne.. feeling pretty optimistic with SB'S range of products!
My daughters have bad break outs. I applied the tea tree & volcanic ash serum on their break outs and their acne cleared up. I love this serum. It's great on bad break outs.
