Four Tea Serum

$ 20.00

You already know the common wisdom that tea is loaded with antioxidants that help boost health, and may even contain anti-aging properties. We've decided to harness this power in this serum by combining four different kinds of tea extract-- Green Tea (extremely high in polyphenols, a type of flavonoid phytochemical that contributes to tea's active properties), Black Tea, White Tea, and even Rooibos Tea. Combined with their high concentration of polyphenols, teas also contain other important vitamins and phytochemicals for skin health, including Vitamins C and E, carotenoids (fat soluble antioxidants that help fight free radicals), and flavonoids (the most important being polyphenols).

Made without Parabens.

The skin brightener!

I love this serum and am so excited to finally have a full size bottle. For some reason the sample size bottle I originally purchased sat on my counter a while untouched. When I finally tried it I was honestly amazed by the result - immediate, noticeable skin-brightening. I do not think of myself as a "dewy skinned" person but this serum got me there; it makes my skin glow. By the time I was hooked the full size bottle was no longer available, so I was very pleased to see it come around again. This is a must-have Sabbatical Beauty product for me. I layer it on between Asian Power House and Marine and am good to go (with sunscreen of course!). I'll be purchasing a 2nd bottle soon because I do not want to be without this amazing serum!

I started off using this at night, but where it really shines is as a daytime serum. It's light, non-greasy, moisturizing, and I think it really helps my skin not look so haggard after a day of recycled air and traffic pollution. It doesn't have the obviously visible skin-changing effects that some of the other serums have, but I think this one is a really long-term skin-health investment. I often forget that long-term damage is often caused by oxidative stress, and this serum is a serious health tonic for your skin.

Surprise favorite

4Tea is one of those products that you don't realize is a must-have until you try it. It has a mild, subtle tea scent - almost undetectable - and is thin and just-barely oily in consistency. As soon as it's applied, it disappears completely. For me, it seems to soothe redness and irritation. Don't let this one fly under the radar for you - it's a surprise favorite for me!

Yay for tea time!

I was traveling somewhere with a lot of second-hand smoke when I first tried this and I'm convinced it saved my skin. It was also great for helping combat gross, dry, recycled airplane air. I could certainly use this in my everyday routine, and will, but I also like to know that it will help me keep my skin looking fresh and glowy when I need it most.

My favorite of all SB serums!

I'm quite terrible about leaving reviews (as in, I generally don't!), even when I love the product!

A little bit goes a long way, and like other reviewers have said, I've found that this seems to reduce redness in my skin and also smooths it. This mixes particularly well with the now-retired 5 Ginseng from the Splash (summer) 2016 collection. But, I think that this is a wonderful standalone serum! I prefer it over Asian Powerhouse and Marine! (and noticed a change in my skin almost immediately)

FYI: my skin type is on the drier side (with a bit of oiliness in the T-zone in warmer weather), I'm in my 30s, and don't generally get much acne/eruptions of any kind (knock on wood).
