Not your average aloe vera gel, this antioxidant filled gel-cream is made with a base of fermented sea kelp, Centella Asiatica, Calendula and Cucumber. These highly anti-inflammatory plant extracts help soothe and heal angry sunburns and irritations overnight in a single application.
Ingredient Deep Dive:
🌿Fermented Sea Kelp - one of the most nourishing cocktails of antioxidants to speed wound healing and reduce inflammation. Also helps redness, skin irritations like eczema, and has profound anti-aging benefits. Fermentation increases bioavailability of the good stuff.
🌿Cucumber Extract: Cooling and healing, with natural Vitamin C for antioxidant benefits. May help diminish puffiness and bloating.
🌿Calendula Flower Extract: Has anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties. Used in traditional herbal medicine to heal wounds for centuries, and may help skin irritation conditions.
🌿Centella Asiatica Extract. Also known as Tiger Grass and Gotu Kola, this botanical is traditionally used in South Asia for a powerful wound healing, anti-inflammatory effect.

I buy this product religiously. Living in Australia I sometimes get more sun than intended even with my hat and my sunscreen. After Sun Face Balm, even applied sparingly, clears up any sun related redness almost immediately. I use it on my children as well in cases of accidental sun overexposure and it works perfectly. I have not ever found a product as effective as this for taking the heat right out of the skin and reducing sunburn. Amazing.

I've lived in Florida my whole life and my favorite place to be is the beach. Unfortunately, my skin tends to burn, not tan, even with 70+ SPF, rash guards, hats, and umbrellas. I had resigned myself to burning despite my best efforts. Not so anymore! The newest formulation of After Sun Face Balm is amazing. It glides on and instantly cools hot skin, doesn't leave a sticky residue and applies easily on top of serums (and it smells good too!). I recently spent a week at the beach. After each day, I anointed myself with After Sun (face, neck, chest, shoulders) and I made it through without any painful burns or peeling (a first I may add). I also used it on my daughter and sister who got a little too sun kissed. They were both very impressed with how quickly it calmed their tender skin. A little goes a long way so this bottle will help me through many more days in the sun.

I hate the sun and never, ever go out in it, but I RELISH using the After Sun balm! It smells like summer in the most wonderful possible way. I've been leaving it in the fridge and using it straight from there--such a wonderful, cool, soothing feeling. I love SB so much in general, but this is one of my all-time faves.

My son and I are melanin-challenged. Despite hats and repeated sunscreen applications, we still roast readily. With school and camps entirely outdoors in the QuaranTimes, I've been applying this balm on my little guy's ears. Overnight, they go from lobster red to a healthier shade of 5-year-old pink by morning. Bonus: using this balm on kitchen-fail burns has brought me rapid relief.
