This multifunctional balm provides intense healing and deep moisture for inflamed and irritated skin with a mixture of antinflammatory plant extracts including fermented sea kelp, Aloe Vera and Centella Asiatica extract. Reformulated in 2022 with gardenia essential oil and a plant based preservation system.

🌿 Aloe Vera: Deeply anti-inflammatory, Aloe Vera helps with redness, irritated and inflamed skin. Helps inflammatory skin conditions like eczema.
🌿 Fermented Sea Kelp: Fermented Sea Kelp is so deeply healing to skin that it has launched many a marine-focused skincare brand. Seaweeds are tremendously antioxidant rich, and have been known to be protective against some types of chronic degenerative diseases. Fermenting the seaweed increases its bioavailability, meaning that the beneficial compounds will be pre-broken down, allowing your skin to better use them. 🌿 Gotu Kola: Also known as Centella Asiatica and Tiger Grass, Gotu Kola has been used both for centuries in folk medicine throughout India and China. The herb itself helps to speed wound healing, promotes collagen building and for hyperpigmentation.
🌿 Calendula Extract: Calendula has been used in herbal folk medicine to treat wounds. Its use has been studied to speed healing due to its deep anti-inflammatory nature.

I hate the sun and never, ever go out in it, but I RELISH using the After Sun balm! It smells like summer in the most wonderful possible way. I've been leaving it in the fridge and using it straight from there--such a wonderful, cool, soothing feeling. I love SB so much in general, but this is one of my all-time faves.

I got a travel size of this as part of the Philly Self-care Box a few weeks ago. I finally tried it last week after a long walk on a sunny morning as the last step in my routine. My face felt soft, nourished, and happy. Today I burned my hand baking bread so I decided to use a little of this to help cool and soothe the burn. It helped more than I thought it would! I love the texture of this balm and how my skin drinks it in. This is a keeper!

I bought ASB for my daughter who had a horrible heat rash all over from her trip to Mexico. This stuff was a miracle worker! It calmed and healed her skin almost overnight, the redness, itchy, dry skin, gone in a few days! This is a summer must have and quite honestly a year round must have! Thanks SB❤️
