The "Quick and Dirty" Routine Hack

I really love this exfoliating toner. I forgot I had it and then started using it a few weeks ago—it’s amazing that even after I cleanse my skin this product gets even more dirt and stuff. It smells amazing and brightens my skin like nothing else I’ve ever tried. I need more!!!

R.I.P. Full Sized Bethany. We spent so many evenings together over wine. You may have brought out the worst of me, but I can see (skin) more clearly now that our time together was everything. There is a new Bethany in my future.

Seriously, this is a great mask. My skin is far clearer after regular use. Bethany has helped with so many hormonal breakouts. She’s a must have.

My first SB order was a bunch of sample packs and I couldn’t afford full size of everything I liked right away. Calm was one of two full size purchases and so worth it. It feels thick but goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated all day. I am hooked!

I had a lovely, all natural moisturizing cream I was obsessed with and then I moved to another country and couldn’t buy it anymore. I tried Calm hoping it would be a replacement and it’s everything I wanted and more. Lots of moisture, goes on smoothly, smells great.

I love how moisturizing this is. I live in a really dry climate and it feels great to have my skin soak this up overnight. My sample is almost gone and I’m going to order the full size soon!

I LOVE Marine! It’s absolutely my favorite SB product, and favorite skin care product overall. It’s great on my sensitive skin and leaves it bouncy, glowy, and even. Highly recommend!

Let’s face it. I’m tired, your tired, we’re all tired into next week. I have maybe five minutes to myself a day with a toddler and a business I run from my home. And in those five minutes I want to be as lazy as possible. The chill vibes set let’s me do just that and still get incredible results. Smooth, clear, bright, supple skin in five minutes or less. This will be my go to forever.

This is good stuff, though I think the aloe makes me break out. Brightens overnight, noticeably. I'm a fan!

Got the tester size so I have to pour this out onto my hand after it's separated into layers in the bottle. I feel like I have to use a lot because it's so low foaming, and it feels wasteful. It's gentle and smells nice but not worth the money or hassle for me.

This so far is the one SB product that I will likely repurchase when I am out. Also one of the very few that I even got in the full size. Age 40+ w/ start of nasolabial folds, loss of elasticity and collagen, some settling of 11's, horizontal forehead wrinkles. Skin was oily for most of my life and now settled into combination. For me, this serum has helped with skin brightening. I have a few products that seem to be helping me with that right now, so I'm not totally sure how much weight this one is pulling in itself, but I definitely attribute positive brightening to this product. I actually found more dramatic results with the pressed serum version, which I got in tester size, but sometimes the aloe base of the pressed serums seem to make me break out, so I'm not totally sure whether I will restock this or the pressed version when I run out. Assuming they still make this by then, as product seem to be discontinued with some frequency! I hope not this one or its pressed cousin.

I agree with other reviewers that this is not harsh and it lightly exfoliates. I'm happy I got my tester. But I've been using chemical exfoliants for years and my skin is not very sensitive, so I will probably go back to other stronger brands.

Unlike the other reviewers here, I know nothing about Crystals. Nothing. As in: Not. A. Thing. But I also did not know much about facial care/K-beauty and I learned through SB. I've been using SB products exclusively for about 3 years. So, when there were some Sabbatical Beauty Community Facebook Page posts and videos from founder Adeline Koh, I was intrigued, especially because like her (she admits this), I was so into YANG energy and everything male and fire-y. Crystals are balancing and help with your yin energy, and interestingly, I was reading about *that* elsewhere. When I saw that it only 10 bucks, I thought, what the hay. I got them and I will admit to having been drawn to them. I can't explain it, and I kinda don't want to (? that seems more yang-y lol). I put them around my yoga mat and after practice see if one of them is calling to me and hold it in meditation. Last night I was feeling very tired and overwhelmed and I was drawn to the rose quartz one. I grabbed it and held it. It did make me feel better. I'm just going with this so I don't know how helpful will be, but if you're curious and 10 bucks is in your budget, I say start with SB's crystal kit. It's guaranteed to be from a reputable source, because Adeline doesn't allow us any crap stuff. And you might find your energy and inner soul helped. [that said I have not put it in water to drink it yet, lol].

Although I grew up loving crystals, rocks, and stones: things that can take a time to create, never would I have thought myself a person who would use crystals. How things change! The Self Love Crystal Kit reminds me to be generous with forgiveness, love and care—for myself and others. When I find myself out of balance, for example, I hold the clear quartz; the crystal is now familiar to me in shape and feel. The familiar crystal quickly brings me back to the present, at which point I can ask myself questions that help me make decisions about what will help me reclaim my balance. All my crystals are familiar in shape and feel. I hold them singularly at different times and by two or three at other times. My amethyst reminds me to stay in my own lane, which helps me relate energy/feelings/stuff that does not belong to me. Rose quartz softens the edges of life, especially when I focus on caring for others above myself, by reminding me to be more gentle with myself. I am looking forward to using the kit for a crystal elixir. I am curious to see how I feel and focus after drinking a rose quartz, amethyst, and clear quartz elixir. For me, the crystals are an invitation to be more intentional with my kindness, forgiveness, care, focus, and love. Omg this stuff is amazing and I love it so much. I dont even need lotion with it and a little goes a long way. I hope they never ever stop making this. I plan on buying it foooreeeever. At first I thought it was kinda pricey but its seriously gonna last a long time and also it smells amazing but legit it has fixed the cracked skin I have had my entire life after one use. In love with this so much.

So, I don't use this bc I'm not a huge fan of oil cleansers, I just can't get used to them. My daughter who has acenic, oily, teen skin LOVES this cleanser. It's made her realize that her culty Mario B skincare line isn't all that. I'll definitely keep buying this for her. Thank you!

Oh. My. God. This stuff is AMAZING! I bought it cause one of the reviews said you don't need moisturizer after and it's so true! I've always had really really dry skin to the point that no amount of moisturizer doesn't help the cracked skin on my legs. One use of this and it was gone. It also smells sooo good and you only need a little bit. It's gonna last me forever but I'm hooked.

This product is nice! I haven't used it a ton but so far I like it. I feel like my eyes aren't as puffy in the morning

I didn’t get this SB product because I have long been into crystals. Instead, I thought, “Let’s see; it’s $10.” What I found was and is surprising. The energy was instantly present when I took the crystals from their bag. The hair stood up on the back of my neck in a GOOD way; my pulse raced in several different moments that told me which stone was most powerful and useful in a certain moment. I have since used them for meditation (with and without yoga), water infusion/elixir making (as suggested), and stress relief breathing/meditation. I am becoming a crystal person and never thought that was possible! Another amazing SB innovation in my life.

I'm new to SB and I was too impatient to follow the advice to try one thing at a time, so I'm not sure exactly which skin improvements are due to the coconut serum, though my skin is very happy. One thing I am especially in love with is the smell of this serum -- it's a nice, fresh coconut smell. If something has a great scent (but not artificial), it really makes me feel pampered when I put it on. I am almost out of my trial size and savoring every last drop until I can afford to buy a full-size!

I’m having an identity crisis. For 40 years I have had oily skin. As a Florida gal, I had become accustomed to midday face washes, blotting cloths and an oily glow in pictures. There was a time, before Sabbatical Beauty, when extracting blackheads from my nose and chin was part of my nightly routine. No more! Thanks to Carol’s Sake and Rice Serum, my oily sheen is gone. I use Carol’s Serum daily in my morning routine after Asian Powerhouse and Coconut Serums. It goes on without stickiness and is absorbed very quickly, making it easy to layer other serums on top of it. Now, after only a month or two of use, I cannot fathom my skin without Carol’s Serum.

I've been using this serum for a few months now and its by far my favorite SB product. I have oily/acne prone skin and this serum reduced the amount of oil my skin produces and keeps it from breaking out. Its the only serum I never skip, and occasionally it's the only one I use if I'm in a rush. I also have a lot of acne scars that have started to fade after using this. Its such a useful serum and it smells AMAZINGGGG

The grease slick that was once my face...no more! This stuff rocks. My skin is matte after a full day of running around chasing chickens and dogs.

Carol's sake and rice serum with probiotic is just amazing! It gives my skin, glow, it tightened my pores and gave my skin a wonderful suppleness! I won't ever be without this serum.

I love the way this wash-off mask makes my skin feel- soft and clean and nourished. It is lightweight and I feel like my dark spots are lighter and my face is less oily. I also LOVE the scent. I have been using it every few days as my go-to mask. (Sorry about the work- picture- I’m multitasking under the harsh fluorescent lights!)

This mask has become my very favorite SB product. Like everyone else, I'm busy, and my time is often at a premium. I was excited about the products in Marissa's Chill Vibes Only collection but also skeptical. A mask in five minutes?

Yes.

I have very dry, sensitive skin, and this mask is like a kiss from the best beach you've ever been to, with the calmest, most healing vibe. Slather it on and delight in the cool, brine-touched scent, like a pristine ocean. The texture is plush and soft, and the gel spreads quickly onto skin. After a few minutes, the soft gel dries and when it is washed away, the mask leaves behind soft, hydrated, smooth as glass skin. In 5-10 minutes instead of 30!

One bonus I have discovered is that this mask, applied at the beginning of a hot flash, is cooling and soothing against my hot and sweaty face, neck, and chest. Rinsed away with cool water, this has really helped make my hot flashes less uncomfortable. This mask, for me, is the essence of Sabbatical Beauty...effective, enjoyable to use, and addictive!

This mask took a little while to grow on me. I have tried all the masks that SB sells, and I love the hydrating and the exfoliating masks the best. This one was different in the consistency of other masks in the SB Line (I am an SB-Lifer just so you know because the ingredients work and are active and there is no crap and the business is ethical). And, in all truth, I was asked to review this line as a brand ambassador and got free products, but was not paid for my reviews. As I said, this one grew on me. I was at first shocked at the consistency, but kind of grew to like it. A colleague noted that it helped cool her after a hot flash. I used it about 4 times and the last two I really noticed brightening and softening after I used it. It dries fast, which also freaked me out because I am used to leaving most SB masks on for 20-30 minutes. But you don't need to devote that much time to this mask; 5 minutes and you got a glow! It's Marine serum in a jar with a jelly-like, squish-y consistency. Try it. It's a winner by Marissa of SB.

Being vegan I'm used to navigating between obviously non-vegan, accidentally vegan (swedish fish, oreos, sweet chili lime doritos) and wholly vegan items and companies. When a skin care line that's not wholly vegan makes a vegan product *on purpose*, you have to try it. This cleanser is awesome. The scent is different, reminiscent of what a minty goat milk cleanser would smell like (to my nose at least.) The proof is in how it works with 100% vegan ingredients. This is a great gentle foaming cleanser. I'll keep buying it until the elves stop making it. Thank you!

The Rose and Honey Cream is absolutely one of my all time favourites. It is super healing, super calming and super hydrating.
The smell is absolutely divine very subtle, not over powering or artificial smelling whatsoever.
You only need to use the smallest amount as a moistuiser.
One of my favourite ways to use Rose and honey cream is in facial massage. It has just the right consistency and slip for this purpose.
I also love to mask in it using the Supercharge Your Moisture Set ♥️🌹♥️ I added healing powers of Rose quartz to this particular self care/ self love session and it felt like a huge loving hug.

I just used my set for the first time and I’m totally in love. It really prepped my skin for my serums to penetrate more. I could feel it with every step. Intensely clean feeling! Is it odd if I feel like I look younger after one use?! Looking forward to continuing my skincare journey with Sabbatical Beauty products.

I always worry about trying new things on my face because my skin is sensitive and I have cystic acne. I've mostly had the acne under control for years now. But I'm now battling aging! I've also seen new changes in my skin, like dryness. Anyway, I already use Marine Serum and wanted to try a cleansing balm to possibly take the place of my drying foamy face wash. Tadaaa! My face feels so happy and hydrated. I used this plus the Maple Essence and Marine.
