I joined the first virtual Sip, Shop, and Skin party in July 2020. As a newbie to the brand, I was eager to try some of the products and also pick the SB team’s brains about application order and tips.
I’ll admit I was a smidge nervous that I had just signed myself up for a 90-minute hard sales pitch. But, those fears were unfounded.
Prior to the event, I received the signature blue box with my “cocktail” for the Sip portion of the event, along with delicately packed foil packets of my regimen, a head band, and instruction card. That coupled with 2 email touches offered instructions settled any nerves that I had about being underprepared.
The party itself was a low key, good time, similar to a night gabbing with girlfriends. The attendees were a perfect mix of women who were super experienced with the products and newer fans like myself. Hearing about the Holy Grail products from the other women was a treat, particularly those with similar skin concerns as mine.
Adeline walked us through each step, explaining why she created each, the formulation, and best practice application and answering questions about how to fit a specific product into an existing skincare routine. It was really casual and free flowing discussion, and, honestly the 90-minutes flew by!
There was zero push to purchase products (although by the end of the session, I had already ordered 4 via my cell phone, because they were that good!). The morning after, my skin glowed as if I had a hydrafacial, and I felt centered in the way that only taking 90-minutes out for self care and socialization can do!
