Yummiest Lip Balm Ever

I'm not sure why, but ever since High School, I've been addicted to Lip Balm. Back then I just had the cherry flavored Chapstick Brand. But then I moved on to Lipsmackers Dr. Pepper because since I was a very minimalists makeup person, I loved how it left just a nicest pink hue. God, I loved that lip balm so much that before I moved to another country (I moved to several different countries for work), I would literally go to every single Target in my area and buy out their entire Lipsmackers Dr. Pepper Lip Balm supply. I remember one day a friend asking me if the ingredients in the Lipsmackers were safe because (and this so so gross) , I realized I was slowly but surely eating sticks and sticks of this stuff (why else would I be reapplying so often?) That's when I switched between Burt's Bees Grapefruit flavor because I figured it was a more healthy brand along with Nivea in Cherry, again for that light pink hue. Since then, I've always has 2 kinds of lip balms. A "healthy one without an aritifcal flavors or colors and one with a light pink hue. Before I got the Sabbatical Beauty Sugar Cookie Lip Balm, I was using Neutrogena plain lip balm for home and Nivea cherry for going out. I had no idea how awesome this lip balm would smell... I could almost eat it! I also know it's healthy because even though I'm new to Sabatical Beauty, they're really into natural ingredients in all their products. Also, it's like 10 times more creamier/softer than the Neutrogena one. Thank you SO much for giving me one of these as a gift guys... It is like averaging in the single digits as far as temperature in Korea right now so unless I'm going somewhere important, this will definitely be the lip balm in my jean pocket (don't ask me how many red lip balms I've accidentally washed or gone so far as to put them in the dryer and ruin all the clothes in that wash!)

A winter treat

This is a welcome introduction to the winter season. The vanilla sugar cookie scent is subtle and enjoyable. The balm isn't as waxy as most chapsticks/ balms I've purchased from other brands. After only a couple days of use, my lips feel more hydrated, nourished, and less chapped.

Lip balm snob over here...

I have tried most lip balms on the market and I am SUPER picky about them, like to the point where I return them if I don't like them cuz it annoys me to pay for crappy lip care!

I am in love with the Salted Caramel! The texture and consistency is perfect. It is long lasting, doesn't melt in my pocket (where it stays, all day long) and the flavor is subtle and unique.

I really hope that SB comes out with more lip balms in a tube. Like chocolate mint, strawberry, etc. This is PERFECTION.

I love the salted caramel! I've been loyal to Neutrogena for years but I think this has finally won me away.

Everything you ever wanted in a Lip Balm

My husband thinks that the formulas for these need to be patented by SB because, in his words my, "lips are so soft and supple I could keep kissing you forever". Not that he wouldn't if given the chance anyway.

Honestly, the scents of these lip balms are not overpowering, but definitely present. I kind of want to eat my lips when I'm wearing the Salted Caramel and the Lavender Mint has me looking around for a plant. I found the flavors to be very light, but, in light of my wanting to eat my lips just from the smell, this is probably just as well.

They're not overly hard or soft. I honestly think that SB has found the perfect balance with the texture and firmness. I don't need to squash it to apply, but I also don't feel that it's going to flop out of the tube either.

Perfect for blustery winter days and nights, they glide on easily and give very good coverage for a reasonable amount of time (if you don't eat it off your lips). Absolutely worthwhile - my daughter already swiped the Salted Caramel one from me and she's eyeing the Lavender Mint.....
