Hubby vs Me

This was originally for hubby, with Day Spa for me.

And then I read this review somewhere that Cabin Fever works amazingly for dry scalp, which I've been struggling with for months. I even bought this really expensive, off-brand tea-tree oil that STILL gave me flakes! I gave it a try both for my hair and as a body wash, and I am completely sold. I was surprised that it actually worked because it's now month 6 of different shampoos for the flake issue.

On the other hand, hubby is not very happy that I'm 'sharing' 'his' body wash but I guess that just means we'll have to restock sooner than anticipated! ^^;;;

Vacation in a bottle

This has been my biggest splurge with SB so far. $50 for body wash seemed like A LOT! And then I tried it and was instantly transported to a place of tranquility and pines. The scent is sublime and reminds me of walks in the woods. Using a shower mesh, I get plenty of suds and it feels like silk on my skin. Luckily, it only takes a small amount to get clean so my current bottle will last for months. I couldn’t be happier with my splurge!

I forgot to mention...

This Cabin Fever stuff. It is a large bottle and lasts *forever* because you only need a little to make a lot of suds. And it makes a glorious bubble bath too!

Aromatherapy plus!

This stuff is addictive. It foams up really well and you don't need a lot of it to do the job. It is thick and luxurious but I still don't think it smells like any forest I have ever been in but I do like the fragrance and as some others have said, it does stay with you for a bit, which means the moisturizers do too. But here is what it reminds me of: In 1964 there was the NY World's Fair and Coke had a great pavilion that I could not get enough of, I was 12 and in that pavilion you walked through several highly detailed and realistic immersive environments that featured the sounds and smells of those areas. I remember one was Hong Kong and I recall another was Switzerland. For that one you walked out on a bright, sunny deck above a big conifer forest with the Alps in the background, a stiff breeze blowing the Swiss flag around, cold air in your face, fresh from the mountain snows, and dang, Cabin Fever reminds me of the scent they had in THAT environment.

Walk in the Woods

This shower gel is so gentle and foams up exceptionally well. The scent is like taking a walk in the woods after a light rain. There's a bit of pine and freshness to it. My skin is well hydrated after using it, not dried out like soap leaves me. I use it on a loofah to get maximum bubbles without using very much, and it feels so nice. I credit Sabbatical Beauty's Body Washes and Body Cremes with getting rid of the keratosis pilaris (little bumps all over my upper arms) that has plagued me for years. The scent lingers long enough to be pleasant but not so long as to be cloying. Marvelous way to begin or end the day.
