Bamboo is traditional used for a host of remedies involving skin in Asian cultures. In Ayurveda, Bamboo infusions are used to create eye washes and to treat inflammation. Bamboo extracts also contain mildly antibacteral, astringent effects, which help to balance oil production.
Bamboo's skin-loving superpowers stem from the high percentage of natural silica which it contains. I took one point off because my travel-sized bottle didn't come with instructions (so I didn't know to shake it) and it didn't foam. I still got a very nice cleanse from it, and my skin still felt and looked great after using it. I would consider purchasing again.

The Bamboo Foaming Cleanser is my favorite cleanser. It smells really nice, and it's gentle on my skin. It gets my skin clean and ready for serums. I have been using it for years -- there are other cleansers I like, but this is my favorite and I keep coming back to it.

I bought a travel size of this along with the rose foaming cleanser to use as a second cleanse. Couldn't choose one over the other so I got a full size of each and now I just alternate the two. This is a very soothing cleanser my skin feels soft and hydrated after I use this. It really helps with the redness on my cheeks. I like the smell it reminds me of the woods after it rains. You only need a dime size amount of this cleanser (same goes for the rose foaming cleanser) full size should last a while.

I only started my skin care, face care journey a couple of months ago: I was thinking, "I just turned , it's a global pandemic and I am stuck in my house, and I need to start taking better care of myself." Why not treat myself to a birthday and self care gift? But I wanted to start simple; I don't like a lot of steps. So a friend recommended a set of four products as a starter kit: Bamboo Foaming Cleanser was one of them. It is light, frothy, a little floral, and leaves my face feeling clean, zippy, and fresh. I haven't tried a range of cleansers (and hope to do so), but I am very pleased with SB's Bamboo Foaming Cleanser!
