Rose Cleansing Balm is a gloriously indulgent cleansing balm to deeply hydrate skin while removing makeup and deeply cleansing at the same time. It can also be used as a face mask to rejuvenate skin.

š¹ Hazelnut Oil - this is one of my favorite oils, because of its high concentrations of tannins and catechins, which both make it feel dry to the skin and not greasy. It is also filled with many polyphenols and has one of the highest flavonoid concentrations of a carrier oil, meaning it is antioxidant rich and helps to reduce inflammation and make your skin glow.
š¹ Shea Butter - Shea butter contains a high concentration of Vitamin E in the form of tocopherol and tocotrienols, so it acts as a natural antioxidant to help reduce irritation, redness and prevent premature aging. It also naturally contains allantoin, which is approved by the FDA as a cosmetic ingredient to protect your skinās moisture barrier, thereby protecting chafed, cracked or windburned skin and reviving damaged skin. Allantoin also helps with wound healing and cell regeneration, making your skin more flexible and glowing.
š¹ Castor Oil - Castor oil is an excellent oil to treat acne & inflammation as it feels dry on the skin, but still softens skin, and is very low on the comedogencity scale. Iāve used a washable castor oil in this iteration so that it comes off super cleanly.

I bought the travel size in July 2021 and fell in love with it! It lasted me several months (finally ran out in November) because I was also using the VCO and the Goat Milk & Rice Cleanser. All great products but the Rose leaves my skin super soft and hydrated and smelling super good! Even my face towels and sometimes my pajamas smell good too! Iāve used it as a mask as well on days when I want to pamper myself a little. Cleans off makeup, mascara, and lipstick just fine for me.
Tip: save the sample size container and refill from the full jar for traveling! I reuse all the sample containers for trips and itās all good!

Vacuum cleansing oil is my go to, but I find it isn't as effective at removing makeup, especially eye makeup, as I'd like. The original rose cleansing balm had mineral oil that irritated my skin and a stronger scent which I found to be a bit too much for me. This new formulation is amazing! It doesn't irritate my skin, it is a bit less fragrant (but still has a rose scent) and is wonderful for removing makeup.

I've loved this cleansing balm, and I was so stoked for this reformulation. It's so velvety and soothing. I love using it before my foaming cleanser. It gets all of my eye makeup off and preps my skin for everything else. It washes off well. My favorite is to use a hot washcloth to wipe it off. I also love using this as a oil mask or to guasha with. Perfect reformulation.
